Once upon a bad dream

Quit showing me the fucking wands! I read Dumbledore’s bloody death enough times and watched the movie repetitively in and out of the theater. I have so many other things to cry about right now: OWS protesters being beaten over their first amendment rights here in the US, child molesters being hidden/protected in major universities here in the US, protesters being beaten and killed in Egypt, the damned 1%… the list could go on. I love that old white man and both the actors who portrayed him, but he’s occupying too much space in my damned mind right now (I have my own kings cross matrix where we sit and chat and I ask him why Gloria Anzaldua is rarely ever there, “because you prefer the company of old white wizards to old brown wizards apparently”, he says) No More Wands!!!!
